PSSA Insurance Policy
Each year, PSSA, as a normal course of business, purchases liability insurance for all teams and members. This year our policy cost is $2,040. We purchase this insurance through Bollinger Insurance Agency to protect members, teams and the league and sponsors from lawsuits brought against us for Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims arising out of our team’s amateur softball activities, including practices, games, and tournaments.
While we have not had occasion to utilize the liability protection, the PSS Board feels it is a valuable protection against unforeseen circumstances, and budgets for it each year.
Due to exorbitant cost, we have NOT provided personal Accidental Medical coverage for several years. This coverage is the responsibility of the individual player
