The Major Division Cactus League will kick off — weather permitting — on Monday, March 3. For now, starting game times will be 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. As always, check your e-mails and messages before leaving for Pioneer, as postponements due to cold and/or wet weather are common in March and April.
Cactus games provide an opportunity to showcase “skills” prior to the April 7 summer season draft, so don’t hesitate to try a new position — maybe even pitching! Managers will be watching.
Attendance for Cactus games can be “spotty”, to say the least, so if you want to come early for a late game, or stay late after an early game, there should be ample opportunity to play two.
